2026年度 国際バカロレア（IB）教育ウィンターセミナー
振り返りを問い直す
― IB教育における『振り返り』から考える学びの深め方 ―

文部科学省IB教育推進コンソーシアムでは、学校教員、自治体関係者、大学関係者等を対象に、「2026年度 国際バカロレア（IB）教育ウィンターセミナー」を開催いたします。
本セミナーでは、「振り返りを問い直す」をテーマに、IB教育における振り返りの意義や、学びを深めるための実践について考えます。
基調講演では、IBディプロマプログラム（DP）における「CAS（創造性・活動・奉仕）公式ガイド」の主要共同執筆者であり、サービス・ラーニングや振り返りを軸とした教育実践に取り組むキャスリン・バーガー・ケイ氏をお招きし、「振り返りのアート：目的からプロセスへ」をテーマにご講演いただきます。
また、実践報告では、PYP・MYP・DPそれぞれの段階における振り返りの実践事例を紹介します。さらに、分科会では、プログラムや校種ごとに分かれ、参加者同士の協働を通じて、明日からの授業づくりに生かせる振り返りの在り方を考えます。
IB教育に携わる先生方はもちろん、IBの考え方や実践を日々の授業に取り入れたいと考えている先生方にとっても、振り返りを通じた学びの深め方を考える機会となります。

Rethinking Reflection
— Deepening Learning Through Reflection in IB Education —
MEXT Consortium for Promotion of IB Education is pleased to host the 2026 International Baccalaureate (IB) Education Winter Seminar for educators, local government officials, and university personnel.
This seminar will focus on the theme of “Rethinking Reflection” and explore the role of reflection in IB education and how it can contribute to deeper learning.
The keynote presentation, “The Art of Reflection: From Purpose to Process,” will be delivered by Ms. Cathryn Berger Kaye, a leading expert in service learning and reflection. Ms. Kaye is a co-author of the official IB Diploma Programme (DP) CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) Guide and has extensive experience supporting educational communities and facilitating meaningful learning through reflection.
The seminar will also feature presentations on reflection practices across the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). In addition, breakout sessions will provide opportunities for participants to collaborate with one another, exchange ideas, and explore practical approaches to reflection that can be applied in their classrooms from the following day.
Whether you are already involved in IB education or interested in incorporating IB approaches and practices into your daily teaching, this seminar offers an opportunity to rethink the role of reflection and explore ways to deepen learning through practice and collaboration.
