【20 May 2021】IB eSeminar on ‘IB Career-Related Programme (IBCP)

To School Officials

We would like to invite you to an IB eSeminar on ‘IB Career-Related Programme (IBCP)’ which will be conducted live through Microsoft Teams on 20 May 2021, Thursday from 4.30pm to 6pm (Japan time) for schools heads and IB programme coordinators.

The IBCP is a framework of international education that incorporates the values of the IB into a unique programme addressing the needs of students engaged in career related education. Designed for students aged 16-19, the CP’s three-part framework comprises the study of at least two Diploma Programme (DP) courses alongside the distinctive CP core and a career-related study. CP students engage with a rigorous study programme that genuinely interests them while gaining transferable and lifelong skills. The programme leads to further/higher education, apprenticeships or employment pathways to students and in the process preparing them for life.

This eSeminar is ideal for schools in Japan seeking information about the implementation of the CP. Sessions will include an overview of the CP framework and potential career-related study options offered by professional provider. With better understanding, schools will be able to assess the possibility of offering the CP for students who wish to engage in career-related education.

Please register by 17 May 2021, Monday via this registration form shown below.

If there are more than one participant from your school, kindly submit the registration separately, so all participants will receive the link to join the seminar. More information will be sent to you on the steps to join the seminar once we have received your registration.
