As commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, MEXT consortium for promotion of IB education in Japan was established in May 2018 with the aim of disseminating International Baccalaureate (IB) programs in Japan. This website provides news and events that help deepen your understanding of the IB.

The International Baccalaureate is an international educational program offered by the International Baccalaureate (headquartered in Geneva). It comprises the Primary Years Program (PYP) for children aged 3 to 12, the Middle Years Program (MYP) for students aged 11 to 16, the Diploma Program (DP) for students aged 16 to 19, and the Career-related Program (CP) for students aged 16 to 19, which focuses on the development of career-related skills. The International Baccalaureate is widely recognized by universities throughout the world, graduates of the program are internationally accepted as eligible for university admission, and IB scores are widely used in screening applicants.
