IB Education Advisors (Objective and Relevant Services)

Objectives of IB Education Advisors

The Consortium establishes The International Baccalaureate Organization (known as the IB) education advisor system by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Advisors provide advice to local governments, schools, and universities that are interested in the IB, IB World Schools that have just introduced each IB educational programme, and IB candidate schools.

Examples of Activities of IB Education Advisors

(A) Sharing practical examples in school
(B) Collecting successful cases (articles and practice and event movies)
(C) Providing necessary advice and sharing examples and participating in individual information sessions for schools and other institutions that are interested in the introduction of the IB programme
(D) Introducing alumni and building a network of IB graduates, including other schools
(E) Maintaining the introduction manual, operation manual, and other manuals for the IB curriculum
(F) Making an appearance on the Consortium website and presentation at events such as symposiums
(G) Providing advice on the consistency between the curriculum guidelines and IB subjects
